Despite immense hype surrounding its release, the product is a critical failure, disappointing thousands of children with its subpar gameplay. Nearly three decades later, however, dedicated fans continue to repurpose the Power Glove for art pieces, hacking projects, electronic music, and more.

The film recently screened at the 42nd annual Odense International Film Festival in Denmark, and the film’s U.S. Premiere will be at the New Orleans Film Festival on October 13, 2017 at The Broad Theater (636 N Broad Street, New Orleans, LA). The film will also be screening at the Cucalorus Festival in Wilmington, North Carolina in November 2017.
